July 20th, 2008 at 07:16:44 "white people should go back where they came from"? hmm, u do know that indians first lived in America, right? then white ppl came whom brought black ppl with them, even if it was for the wrong reasons. A comment like yours is just stupid and racist. And that is not what Obama stands for. Hes not a racist, and he dosnt hate white ppl, nor does he hate black ppl, and he dosnt hate latinos. Vote Obama
July 20th, 2008 at 07:39:43 white people should go back to where they came from
July 20th, 2008 at 08:02:42 best speech since Martin LUTHER KING im not from US but i would love to have a president like that in my country(France) this guy can make a better world i hope american ppl will vote for him cuz everyone loves him outside america i dont see him as a politician i c him as an affro american citizen who wants to change the country of his ancestor (black n white)for an united country for a better world thats what we all need :)
July 20th, 2008 at 08:25:41 He talks and acts like another icon. Like Martin L. King (jr), John F Kennedy, Malcom X. They might not all say the same thing but they are all great people.
July 20th, 2008 at 08:48:40 I hope people will see that experience isn't all you need. I beleive that however Obama does (no offense to conservatives) he will still be better than Bush or Mccain for that matter. Just look at all of the young people hes brought out who voted for the first time. It's going to be a hard election but I think we have it.
July 20th, 2008 at 09:11:39 He uses a telepromptor (most of the time)
July 20th, 2008 at 09:34:38 He has his stuff together i'll say that!smart and organized guy!
July 20th, 2008 at 09:57:37 a Catholic wrote the American Constitution =]
July 20th, 2008 at 10:20:36 lets go change the world
July 20th, 2008 at 10:43:35 Well we all know how well bush's economic plan is doing for us. His tax cuts for the wealthy, higher unemployment rate due to outsourcing jobs to other countries. Mccain wants to continue the same failed policies. Mccain admitted that he knows LESS about economics than anyting else! His top economic advisor has said that the economy today is a "mental recession" basically saying that the high gas prices, weak dollar, mortgage crisis, which he was a key player in creating, are all in out heads.
July 20th, 2008 at 11:06:34 well said
July 20th, 2008 at 11:29:33 remember, Bush spoke a great speech at the end of the election of 2000 when the Supreme Court gave him the victory. What happened to that speechwriter? You dont have to believe he wrote, you have to decide to believe the message and to make you belive, that is Obama's (the speaker) job. And he did a good job
July 20th, 2008 at 11:52:32 what do you mean?
July 20th, 2008 at 12:15:31 This man will not only change this country... he will change the world!!!! Vote Obama 08!!!
July 20th, 2008 at 12:38:30 As someone outside the US I really notice that about him, he makes little or no mistakes when he speaks and even when he's reading a speech he barely looks down at what is written in front of him like he has it all memorized. He will represent the US well if he wins which I think and hope he will
July 20th, 2008 at 13:01:29 is he reading this speech or he just puoring from his cup
July 20th, 2008 at 13:24:28 If he knew American history, he would know that his economic policies do not work. Raising minimum wage creates higher unemployment rates among lower skilled and less expeirenced workers.Raising taxes, increasing government spending and demonizing business? That is straight out of the New Deal of the 1930s. The New Deal was new then but it is not new now. Moreover, increasing numbers of economists and historians have concluded that New Deal policies are what prolonged the Great Depression.
July 20th, 2008 at 13:47:27 He talks purdy, but he's just a politician. I wish people would see that more. He spent decades in a racist church but now talks of racial healing. He wanted to bring the troops home by March 2008, but now he wants to keep them there longer and talks tough about Afghanistan. First he was against cracking down on businesses who hire illegal immigrants; now he's for it. I mean, yay, he's a great public speaker, but he's saying what people want to hear.
July 20th, 2008 at 14:10:26 It's been a long time since we've had someone this articulate and honest about what we need.
July 20th, 2008 at 14:33:25 It depends on which media you view. If ou view liberal to moderate news they aren't going to mention it. It may be because most Americans aren't interested in the war. If we are winning then some may believe it is time to withdraw troops. IF the media news is conservative to moderate then they are going to talk most about the war. I'm independent so I'm nether conservative or liberal. I can't stand bias.
July 20th, 2008 at 14:56:24 Vote for Obama, the better choice for America!
July 20th, 2008 at 15:19:23 Tell all your friends and family to vote for Obama this election, he is the far better choice!
July 20th, 2008 at 15:42:22 This is gonna be and interesting election..I still support Obama!!..Hes smart, young, and handsome =]
